Polytechnic seeks real-life Business Projects.

Let our students find solutions for you!

Whitireia Community Polytechnic (Auckland) seeks real-life business projects to round off our final semester Bachelor of Applied Business Studies students.

Do you have a niggling challenge that you just have not had the time to attend to? Perhaps a team of our senior students can help.

There is no guarantee of course, but who knows, your student team might just come up with the magic solution that gives you a competitive edge.

Some of the projects that our students have done for clients like you include:-

Marketing projects

  • A branding strategy for a NZ aquaculture operation in the Singaporean market
  • Marketing plan for musical instruments
  • An integrated marketing communication plan for a national social support programme
  • A market analysis for an animal feeds manufacturer in Auckland.

Finance Projects

  • A strategy to minimize tax for a family trust.
  • A portfolio investment strategy for an international finance consortium
  • Evaluation and selection of accounting software for a small business in Auckland
  • Project plan and budget for a national event

Student teams work under the supervision of Whitireia Community Polytechnic business lecturers.

Projects will start in June 2008 and finish in September 2008.
