Head Researchers:

Chris Pescott BBS(Hons) MBS MSRNZ – Chris has been involved in market research for the past seven years, building Perceptive from a small one-man band into a high calibre market research agency. Chris holds a Masters Degree in Business Studies from Massey University as well as a BBS(Hons) and is a full member of the Market Research Society of New Zealand. Alongside the late Professor Brain Murphy of Massey University Chris pioneered a new stakeholder perceptions model, and has been responsible for its commercialisation. Chris has high levels of experience in different research methods and environments ranging from business to business research to consumer research to government policy research. Recently, Chris has been undertaking executive level research for some of New Zealand’s leading companies including Telecom, Dorchester, Sony, Ericsson & Drake.

Vinod Dewnani BCom BTech MIB – Vinod has been working in the research sector for many years. He has a Masters in International Business from the University of Auckland as well as a BCom and a BTech. He has a wealth of international experience having worked as a senior researcher for one of the largest research agencies in Germany. He has an in-depth understanding of research methodologies and processes. Vinod is highly experienced in consumer/customer research, and has been the head researcher on a large number of projects for leading edge companies including Dow, Nufarm, Bernina, Beacon Pathway, Wanganui District Council & Bayer.

Joseph Corbett BCom BSc – Joseph has a BCom in Economics and a BSc in Physics from the University of Auckland. He has a high level of experience in handling large data sets, complex analysis and statistical methods. Recently, Joseph has been working on projects involving external markets, undertaking both primary and secondary research. Joseph adds a sound economic background to the project team and manages projects for Perceptive in over 40 countries around the world. Joseph has been working on several key accounts for Perceptive including Provenco, Bluestone, Telecom & Rakon.
